We have both now travelled 157km on foot and yesterday we completed Stage 4 of our Great Walk.  So far it has been an incredible test of our endurance both mentally and physically.  We have trekked through rain, snow and sunshine, over flat arid desert and against some frighteningly steep gradients. Our bodies ache and we are exhausted, but we have seen some amazing sights, met some wonderful people and shared some inspirational stories. 
 
But the journey is far from over.  We still have 71km still to walk and we still have our goal of $5 million to reach.    
 
As Gordon explains, "It was very challenging walking on the wall. I liken it to the peaks and troughs I went through with cancer treatment, with the many ups and downs I experienced. What gets you through is knowing that there will be a finishing point eventually.”

Gordon is just one of the heroic Walkers who are doing all 6 stages of the Great Walk. I’m so moved by these amazing Walkers who are giving up their time and putting in a huge effort to share my passionate commitment to build the Olivia Newton-John Cancer and Wellness Centre and help change the way cancer is treated across the world.
